Autistic Adults Meetup
The Autistic adults meetup is a safe place to meet others on the spectrum. All Autistic adults are welcome, with or without a professional diagnosis, and with any support needs. If you were diagnosed as a child or you are just exploring whether you might be Autistic, join us for socializing and peer support. All are welcome.

Our meetup is autistic led, although we do sometimes have neurotypical co-facilitators and guest speakers.
We understand that it is difficult for some people to actively participate for a variety of reasons. Please know that your presence in the room is considered participation and no one is obligated to speak against their will. Some people come and share right away while others have not said a word other than their name for their first three sessions before joining the discussion.
If you are nonspeaking or minimally verbal, you are welcome to communicate using your AAC device, in writing, or in the text chat for virtual events.
If you need additional support, please let us know in advance. We will do everything we can to support you at our meetings. If you prefer to bring a helper or friend to support you during the meeting, that is also fine.
